My Thoughts On It All: George Floyd, Racism, and Riots (Ep. 44)
I know I’m a few days late on voicing my thoughts and perspective on the current state of affairs in America right now. I needed time to myself to really process it all and get centered. I don’t like to post about things just to post about them or to speak just for the sake of speaking. When I use my voice and my platform, I want to use them intentionally.
So, this is it. Here are my thoughts on the tragedy that happened that day in Minneapolis and all that has transpired since then.
I’ve really thought this through and I feel solid about what I’ve expressed and shared in this episode and it is my hope that it serves you in some way.
Whether you agree with me or not, I hope you can still appreciate and accept my truth. After all, we don’t need to agree with each other to love each other.
I would also love to hear YOUR thoughts, too. If any part of this episode resonated with you or even if any part triggered you… please use it as an opportunity to share YOUR voice and your truth. I welcome diversity and contrast. All of us get to feel seen and heard. Tag me in your IG stories (@ashley.hann) with your thoughts so I can see and share them on my platform as well.
IF YOU FOUND THIS EPISODE VALUABLE-- please be sure to leave a rating and review! It really does mean a lot to me and inspires me to continue to create more of this kind of content.
