One of the things I love about Street Epistemology is that questions are asked with the goal of getting people to self-reflect. It is not about proving that they’re wrong. It is about planting the seed of self-reflection. And a certain openness on the part of the person you’re speaking with is required for that. This can be hard to come by when dealing with deeply held beliefs. But in this interview I chat with Victor, who I think displays incredible openness. The journey toward truth is not always comfortable. Perceived boogeymen lie behind every corner. Confronting those fears, even just acknowledging them, takes a bit of courage. Watch this video, as Victor confronts some of those fears when it comes to his belief in a Higher Power.
