Krista Sirota was my teacher when I did my PT qualifications back in 2014.  She spent many years as a trainer and educator surrounded by some of the most forward-thinking in the industry both here in Australia and abroad.  
In 2017 however she entered a very small 'elite' club as a female fire fighter.  Given that 96% of firefighters are male I was intrigued to hear about what the testing process is like for a female and also what it's like to be a cat amongst the pigeons in such a male dominant industry where physical strength is obviously a reasonable advantage.  
This episode is a great listen for anyone interested in the fitness industry, anyone looking to get into fire fighting as a career choice... or really anyone considering making a change and taking a leap of faith of any sort.
