Dr Gaye Ashford, a graduate of Dublin City University (DCU), is a historian of the eighteenth century with a particular interest in the history of childhood. She has published widely on topics relating to children’s health, and education. Her latest publication, The letters of Katherine Conolly 1707-1747, was published by the Irish Manuscripts Commission (ICM) in December 2018.
