December 28, 2000 the most horrific mass shooting occurred in the Mill Street Section of West Philadelphia known by locals as "the bottom".
Why it happened is truly unbelievable. What happened in the middle, between getting together who did the crime and who merely confessed to the crime was nothing short of a bloody nightmare, no pun intended.
It caused such an embarrassment to the Philadelphia Police Department I believe that is why this whole case has been pretty much squashed to this day, as there is threadbare evidence of this entire incident anywhere on the internet.
Debbie Q investigates what happened...and why some of the victims family members may never heal. Two of the family members in particular,
Veronica Conyers (the mother of Calvin 'CJ' Helton)
and Tamika Porter (aka MEK46th) George Porter's sister
have always been the most vocal in this manner.
