Happy Saturday! Thanks so much for tuning in to this week's episode of Just Might Exist. Today, we're talking about the Burrunjor, the Bunnasur, the Murri-Murra, the Whowie, the Mungoon Galli, the AUSTRALIAN GIANT MONITOR! This giant boi lives deep in the outback and is able to bite cows in half. A vegetarian's worst nightmare. We also talk about a lot of other stuff because we were in a good mood and sometimes that's just how it is. Keep listening after the outro to hear some more talk about crystal, it might put the cold open in some context (probably not).

I know I talked about the appearance of this creature in the aboriginal myths of Australia, but did not include any sources by aboriginal authors. Any of that information I could find describing the Burrunjor in the context of native creation myths were on christian creationist blogs. I did not feel those sites would present that information with the honor it deserves. Could I have done deeper research? Yes. But I was working all day and didn’t have time.
