In today's show I'll be exploring transitioning and physical activity as a non medical pathway. This is a subject that is very close to my heart.
I have used physical activity not just to shape my body but also to connect with it. Getting physically active has helped me build my self confidence, taught me to trust myself and what I'm capable of and helped me be able to truly express myself.
The key things I touch on are:
•How physical activity can be a step forward for medical and non medical transitioning.
•The importance of practicing movements such as the Brettzel, which bring mobility to your Thoracic Spine aka your mid back..
•How your breathing influences your life and how to practice Diaphragmatic Breathing.
•The importance of sleep on your physical and mental well being.
