We tell ourselves a lot of stories about why the right kind of love hasn’t entered our lives. To the career driven woman out there, we’ve whined and wined over a number of them, haven’t we? Here are a few of my favs.

My success is intimidating to men. There’s no good ones left after divorce. I’m “too busy” to date because I’m so career focused. They want the young ones anyway. And the ever so popular…I’m too old for this crap.
