Jumping back into productivity with a positive mindset. The biggest thing to start with is to know how much time you've got to work with, and from there work out what your goals are, and then try and realistically work out what you can get done in the time available. Being a stay at home dad initially feels like time is of a minimum, but when I looked at it there’s little snippets of time all over the place, half an hour here, an hour there. So what I'm looking at doing for these little snippets of time is applying the Pomodoro method which is pretty much a cool name for a tomato timer, you know it could be called the egg method, that doesn't really sound as cool and that's only a couple minutes anyway. So Pomodoro method is about short burst of 25 minutes or so where you focus a hundred percent on that job, try and get that specific task done within that amount of time and when the timer goes that's it, you're done, you're finished.
