On the latest Media Obscura, Nick and Mike check out Troma Films’ The Toxic Avenger! The Toxic Avenger follows a nerdy lad named Melvin who, after falling into nuclear sludge, is reborn as a vigilante superhero. It’s definitely one of the stranger movies that Nick and Mike have watched for the podcast but, if you can overlook a lot of this movie’s more inappropriate/dated sensibilities, there’s a lot of fun to be had with this one!
