Described as “The best mind in the country for creative, lateral problem solving", Leon Zwier is regularly identified as the leading litigation and corporate recovery services lawyer in Australia. Leon has been showered with accolades during his highly coveted career including receiving the Lawyer of the Year Award in 2019. Leon is a partner at ABL (Arnold Bloch Leibler), and sits on various boards, committees and associations including his recent appointment as the Chairman of the Bradman Foundation. If you Google Leon Zwier you will quickly learn the breadth and depth of his impact on some of the largest cases in Australia’s legal history.
Nechama Bassarabie, our amazing young professional on this episode of the show currently works as an Adviser at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. In her first few years in law, Nechama has already gained wide ranging experience across the industry, volunteering in the community legal sector and working in commercial litigation and academic contexts. In 2014 the Sydney Morning Herald did a write up on Nechama showcasing her courage and candour in sticking to her guns and pursuing her passions, a sentiment that you can’t help but take away from our conversation as she shares her incredible insight.
