Welcome to Episode 35 of the podcast.
I've been following TD Holly Cairns with interest since she was elected to represent her constituency and party as a TD in Dáil Éireann. She's fairly new to politics but she's already causing a bit of a stir. She's not afraid to say it as she sees it, not as a trouble maker but as someone who wants to make sure that things are done correctly, in a way that best suits the people of this country. When a member of the Greyhound Board in Ireland called her 'an ignorant little girl' she had to address it, when the women and girls of Ireland needed someone to speak up on their behalf, she was there. She's a formidable force and a genuinely nice person, and I love her honesty and bravery. Hope you enjoy this chat as much as I did.
