Making a Horrible Situation Better (Helen & Douglas House, Amy Botalli & Emma Jordan)
Helen & Douglas House is a UK-based children’s hospice.
Founded in 1982 by Sister Frances Dominica, Helen & Douglas House is the world’s first hospice dedicated to children and young adults. They provide end-of-life care and bereavement support for children and their families, by creating a warm, colourful, nurturing environment so that ‘every life leaves happy memories.’
Amy Botalli is the project manager at Helen & Douglas House. She is responsible for their corporate partnerships; meaning she communicates between brands and H&D, so they can enjoy a symbiotically beneficial experience.
Accompanying Amy is Emma Jordan, a Youth and Transition worker. Emma is responsible for caring for children at the end of their lives, as well as aiding families with the loss of their loved one.
