Episode 10; Reflecting On Borderline Bar & Grill
Like many others I woke up to the news there had been yet another shooting, this time at a country bar in Thousand Oaks. I didn't know how to process the information. I was unsure of the right things to do or say.
Thousand Oaks, California was hit with a tragedy, an unthinkable act of violence that took the lives of 13 people. Borderline Bar & Grill was the sight of a heartbreaking event where people went in to enjoy a Tuesday night and never returned home.
It took me some time to be able to form a complete sentence about how I felt. What was going through my mind and my heart was a whirlwind of emotions that I could not form into words until recently but when I could I picked up a recorded and let it all come out.
This is me in my car, speaking from the heart about another tragic shooting. If you were impacted by this know you are not alone, know there are others here for you as well. Listen to this episode and reach out to a friend or love one and lean on each other as we all, somehow, move forward, together.
