215. Mindset for fat loss: sovereignty > control
After 7 years of coaching fat loss @garrettnwood is finally to a point where she is more direct than ever...dieting is NOT about controlling things. It's about trusting!
Trusting who you ARE and the decisions you are making from your most authentic self is THE ONLY WAY you can lose fat, and sustain it.
Ex: if you try to "control" alcohol or carbs, only until you feel sick and tired of exerting control, you eventually fall back on your old way of being. Instead, get aligned with your authentic self, and make decisions based on this pattern:
I trust that I can ____, because I believe it's possible because it's who I AM!"
Trust that you can eat carbs AND live in your dream body. Trust that you will always make the aligned decision and escape doubt.
