Close the blinds, light some scented candles and curl up into the fetal position on your couch — it's time for yet another "sad boi" episode of Beats, Beards & Brews.
This time the gang attempts to avoid falling into depression while reviewing singer-songwriter Julien Baker's third album Little Oblivions. In all seriousness, Julien Baker is a talented musician, definitely give the album a shot, just be prepared for an intensely personal and emotional musical journey.
And check out the story behind every song on the album, while you're at it.
Julien Baker tracks previewed on this episode include:
Next up, Eric and Dan somehow fail to connect the dots that they are reviewing an album by Julien Baker and a CBD beard oil called The Baker by Fable Beard Company. Dan must have been too distracted by the overwhelming scent of pastries and baked goods under his nose, in his house, and on his pillow.
Eric actually kind of enjoys this scent, despite its strength. Surprise, surprise.
Finally, the boys all drink local New England IPAs (NEIPAs) from their respective states. Evan and Eric take on crowlers of Sycamore Shred by 515 Brewing out of Des Moines, Iowa. Meanwhile, Dan ingests a vintage crowler of Flip Flops and Wheelies by Junkyard Brewing out of Moorhead, Minnesota. Until next time, cheers!
