11. Mike Wright: Ironside. Fighting Jacks. Saint Didacus. Google Kitchen. Catering Chef. Dog Dad.

In this episode, Mike refuses to admit that he eats Fritos! But really, he doesn't. Mike and I have known each other since the 1900's when both of our bands were just wee lads. His band (Freeto Boat - look them up if you are adventurous!) metamorphosed to become Fighting Jacks, signed to Tooth and Nail records, and went on a tour or two with my band Dogwood. I won't give away the whole interview, but he started cooking, went to culinary school, then worked at the kitchens of a pretty famous internet tech search powerhouse in Silicon Valley...

Mike is now playing in Ironside, and occasionally writes intricate dadcore songs for my project Saint Didacus. The music I'm talking over on the intro is music he made with another project, super secret stuff shhh. (Mike played on that linked St D track, but you can hear all the songs here.)
