Carlo Ginzburg, Italian historian who taught at several institutions, such as the University of Bologna, as well as Harvard and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), in addition to being the author of fundamental texts for the formation of historians, such as “The cheese and the worms”, talked to Eduardo Seabra and Rodrigo Elias for episode # 10 of Passadorama: “Meu herege favorito” ("My favorite heretic"). In addition to dealing with Menocchio and micro-history, Ginzburg also talked about chance, shame and ways to combat the rise of the extreme right in Brazil and in the world.
