Healing Love Addiction & Love Avoidance In Relationships

There are two main unhealthy relationship patterns that present in most couples. Typically we can switch between the two unhealthy patterns, until we learn the lessons to come into healthy (secure) dynamics. Which of these shows up in your relationships?
1. Anxious attachment (shadow: love addict): Can be needy, fearful or clingy, and depend heavily on their partner. Forces connection.
2. Avoidant attachment (shadow: love avoider): Tends to keep distance from their partner and from others in his or her life. Forces disconnection.

Secure attachment is the ideal, where people remain together without consistently creating separation and have a supportive, well-functioning relationships.
