Episode 2 | The One Where Cinneah Takes Out Student Loans
Going to post-secondary is expensive, but when Cinneah went back to grad school she had a full-ride fellowship. That didn’t stop her from taking out $16,000 in student loans only to learn a valuable lesson.
Cinneah El-Amin is the creator of Flynanced, a debt-free travel and financial freedom digital platform where she empowers her community members to build wealth through travel.
At only 26, Cinneah has travelled to 28 countries across 6 continents and is often asked how she affords to travel. Realizing that many of her millennial peers were struggling with managing their money and yearning to travel without financial barriers, she created Flynanced to answer that call.
Since 2020, Flynanced has grown into a sought-after personal finance brand with over 30,000 community members. In her own finances, Cinneah became debt-free in 2020 after paying off over $23,000 of debt in 12 months. Since becoming debt-free, Cinneah has relocated abroad and is currently living and working remotely in Tulum, Mexico. She is a graduate of Barnard College of Columbia University and Wake Forest University School of Business.
