Ravenloft & Xenophobia / Pathfinder 1e's Success was Due to the Failure of D&D 4e
Apparently, xenophobia has been removed from the Ravenloft 5e release. I've always seen xenophobia as a primary characteristic of Ravenloft, no matter if the PCs were humans or demihumans, they were strangers and a possible danger.
Pathfinder 1e was a success in large part to much of the D&D community rejecting D&D 4e. Pathfinder 2e is a direct response to the success of D&D 5e. Why is Pathfinder losing market share to Dungeons & Dragonns 5e? Why isn't Pathfinder 2e the success that Pathfinder 1e was right out of the box?
I use years worth of Roll20 Orr Reports looking at the trends for Pathfinder and 5e.
