Have you ever experienced social anxiety around eating?
A lot of people worry about going to restaurants or get-togethers with their family and friends and navigating their food restrictions when they don’t have much control over the menu options.
To talk about how to handle this feeling, I am chatting about social anxiety around eating, binge eating, and more with Mary Doerschner in this episode.
Mary Doerschner is a Registered Dietitian and is Certified in Adult Weight Management and Childhood & Adolescent Weight Management. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Delaware and completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of Northern Colorado.
For almost 20 years, Mary has been providing nutritional counseling and is committed to improving the health, wellbeing, and wellness of others. She helps her clients improve their relationship with food and their bodies so they can show up for what matters most in their life. Prior to joining Inspire, Mary has had her own practice since 2005 and has been the Lead Clinical Dietitian for the Healthcare Services Group for the last 18 years.
Eating well greatly impacts our day-to-day activities, so it is important to know your lifestyle and what works for you. Luckily, Mary is giving us tips and tricks that allow us to feel confident and prepared in these situations.
If you have ever experienced this type of anxiety around food and the negative feelings that come along with it, I really think you will benefit from this interview, so tune in.
