On Flight 82 of the Squawk Ident podcast, we take a look at some of the recent developments in the aviation industry to include the FAA’s launching of a new Confidential Voluntary Safety Reporting Program in the wake of the Boeing Company’s 737-MAX certification issues. We look at Advisory Circular 120-27F dated on the 6th of May, 2019, that has recently made an impact on some part 121 operators with their recent adjustments to average passenger weights. We even take a look at some record breaking fines that the FAA has imposed on passengers that have created headlines with their recent behaviors onboard aircraft. We are also excited to hear about Captain Roger’s recent additional type rating on the Falcon 900-EZ, and about Rob’s final flight on the B-737 and his ongoing transition to long term Airbus flight training experiences at Legacy’s Flight Training Academy.
