It's your girl Jessica and I'm back for another episode of How 2 Store and this week I'm joined by podcaster, YouTuber, video strategist and former rapper Alex Minor. So let's get digital!
Alex takes us through what equipment you need to stand out in the audio visual world, what is the perfect content, sandwich videos and why there's not enough content creators out there.

- Alex miner. I'm a video marketing strategist, and the owner of an agency called I Am media. And we work with coaches, consultants, and small business owners on their personal and professional brands or business brands. And we create content that is not just, you know, pretty videos, but we really try to give people targeted assets that are supposed to accomplish a goal.
- I'm not just telling stories, I'm really trying to help people level up on their content, creating journey, whether that is, you know, knowing how to create the content yourself, or maybe shifting your mindset as to what the possibilities even are when it comes to concept content, or developing a content strategy. And, and so those are the things that I'm really passionate about.
- I see so many opportunities for content that just get missed. Because it mean, you have in this conversation that's constant, if we were to transcribe it and turn it into an article or make an article based off of the things that we discussed, that's content, if we're not just putting out the podcast, but we're taking clips, we're making audio grants from that content, if we're, if we're creating a YouTube video, you know, making this into a YouTube video or taking a chunk of this focus in on one part of the conversation and running off with that concept and making a YouTube video out of that or anything. Like there's so many opportunities for content.
- last month, on LinkedIn, for instance, I did a video of a sandwich. And it got almost 1000 views on LinkedIn. Which mostly would be like, why would anybody watch the video? - And that's another thing with with creating content, it's often the stuff that you think won't work, or that you think nobody's gonna care about, that hits the hardest and resonates the most, and does the most for you
- Because if you happen, if you create a load of content, and you happen to have something that goes viral, well then you won. But if you never have anything go viral, you still won, because you got a ton of content out there and you got a ton of opportunities for people to find you and figure out who you are and what you're doing. And become a fan. You know, but if you spend all your time trying to create this, you know, basically this hit record of the internet and never put out anything unless you think it's going to be that hit. You're gonna waste a lot of time and have a whole lot of heartache.
