Alice joins the front line and reconnects with the other knights. Eldrie says that Kirito is “dead weight” but Alice puts him in his place. Tiese and Ronie interrupt Alice’s near kiss with Kirito and learn the truth about Eugeo and Kirito’s current condition. They also agree to take care of Kirito during the battle. Alice learns she is the strongest fighter and that Kirito is even better than “uncle” - both facts surprise her! The barrier to the dark territory crumbles but there are many ready to fight!
