In this Black History Month episode, IOM3 Diversity Lead Shardell Joseph speaks to EMM3 members Nicole Lee, Senior Engineer at Frazer-Nash Consultancy, Fiazal Hussain, Lead Materials Engineer at Baker Hughes and guest speaker Christopher Jackson, Geology Professor at Imperial College London. They highlight the successes of black achievement and the obstacles black scientists have faced in the past, while also discussing the climate in STEM today for ethnic minorities and what obstacles exists at present – analysing how far we have come and what still needs to be done.
