Caroline Baca-Vecchio, a Latina visual artist from Fresno, received her Bachelors in Art from Fresno State University. She is currently pursuing an MFA degree in Painting and Drawing from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her creative process involves the exploration of the part of us that finds happiness and contentment in the simple things in life, the joy and wonder of just being here, flying a kite, or viewing a polished river stone. Caroline has worked to guide the next generation of creative youth as an Art educator in K-12 schools for over 10 years. She has taught art to students in Germany, Okinawa, and Tokyo, Japan, and back in her hometown of Fresno. Caroline has shown her work locally and has curated shows for her students in Fresno and abroad.
