Mark Henick joins the show today to talk about his incredible story of growing up suicidal to pivoting in to the youngest-ever board member for the Mental Health Commission of Canada, as well as the youngest President of a provincial Canadian Mental Health Association in history.
Mark recently released his first book : "So-Called Normal : A Memoir of Family, Depression and Resilience". We get into his whole process of writing this book itself, and how it has helped his own life coming out of the release.
Mark shares some incredible insight as to how the publics view of Mental Health has changed, for the better, over the past 10 years - as well as what we need to do to continue making it better.
