"Its about the tribe.. a lot of us have never been involved in any campaigning. We've come out of our comfort zones completely and we've gone out there ; we've spoken at rallies, we've spoken at meetings, we've lobbied at parliament...'
As part of this year's Inspirational Women of Portsmouth Awards, we took the opportunity to hear from some of the women nominated for being inspirational. In this episode, Shelagh speaks to our Non-Exec Board member Jasmine about her involvement in the WASPI (Women Against State Pension Inequality campaign that fights for justice for all women born in the 1950s affected by the changes to the State Pension Age). She also talks about who inspires her and how Janey Godley's voice over commentary would make an excellent addition to any dinner party !
