The Hidebehind & Tommyknockers

Back again with a slice of folklore for ya! And this time we're diving into cryptozoology and discussing two elusive creatures from early American folklore.

 

First, The Hidebehind, a man-eating monster who stalks forests in search of unlucky lumberjacks. What makes this monster so sneaky is it's uncanny ability to hide behind anything of any size - undetected. Second is the legend of the Tommyknocker, elf-like creatures that haunt mine shafts and prank unsuspecting miners.
