Jef Bijnens uit Genk vertrekt in 1962 naar Matadi om er te gaan lesgeven in een grote land- en tuinbouwschool. Hij wilde een verschil maken voor de leerlingen daar. Zelf krijgt hij er ook een paar levenslessen cadeau. 

Bacongo Limburg is een podcast van audiomaker Eva Droogmans op vraag van Erfgoedcel Mijn-Erfgoed.
