Veteran Gifted and Talented teacher Susan Holcomb, shares how the national WordMasters Challenge competition keeps vocabulary alive through analogy and competition. She credits the program with developing autonomous learners who consistently end up as merit scholars. Each year, over 125,000 students from some of the best public and private schools throughout the United States participate.
