After a brief disaster with a fire alarm, Clark finally interviews comedian, poet, and co-host of the “Seek Treatment” podcast, Catherine Cohen. Clark asks Catherine about her current quarantine experience in a hotel in Toronto. Clark and Catherine bond over their need to constantly strive for more in their careers as two Ivy Leaguers. Clark asks Catherine about her religious upbringing in Texas. Catherine reads several quotes from a variety of books (not sponsored). Catherine shares that she grew up doing theatre, and after graduating Princeton, joined the improv group UCB in NYC. Clark asks Catherine how she found her love of live performances. Clark and Catherine discuss her book of poems, “God I Feel Modern Tonight: Poems From a Gal about Town.” Catherine reveals what it was like to finally share poetry that didn’t always have a joke in it. Finally, Catherine shares what is currently healing her mind, body and spirit—her Soul Balm.
