This week I sat down with Chelsea and Laura about their transition from nursing students to new graduate nurses. Both secured a position in a competitive environment and started their first rotation in emergency in 2021. On the episode we discuss the infamous new grad interviews, questions commonly asked, what to do in preparation and how to approach the process as a whole. We talked about mistakes in the clinical setting and both Chelsea and Laura talked about their first ever mistakes as registered nurses. They also gave some advice to students on how to make the most of their placements.
