Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, rapper/songwriter Co City has been sharpening his musical chops from an early age by the study of instruments. After being taught the trumpet by Milton Ruffin and David King, he then began rhyming in the late 90's. It was then that he was then that he combine his love of 70's soul and 80's pop music to create his own heartfelt version of Hip hop. From being voted best musician in high school, to receiving a music scholarship to Ohio Wesleyan University, City has performed along the side of The 3rd Power, Rashad, J Rawls, J Sands, The Audio Unit and King Vada.
