Episode - 223 - "An A-Hole With a Whistle" - "Only In America"

Trice Talk Wednesday Night "Mini-Pod" w/Donald Wayne.  I had originally intended to do an episode on the most current debacle at our Southern Border.  Especially since the Biden Bunch is hinting a return to mass masking,  while at the same time they are transporting illegal immigrants (migrants if your a Liberal) to a variety of cities all around the country (coming to a location near you - soon).  But I found a story on Mike Huckabee's Morning Edition Newsletter (for July 28th) that along with an accompanying link - inspired me to change my mind.

The article is titled "Leftist Idiots Blow Whistle on GOP for Asking Questions".  This article is about Four Republican members of Congress that had a press conference on the steps of the Department of Justice, to express their concerns about treatment of those jailed for participating in the Capitol Hill "breach" on January 6th.  According to them, they have tried to meet with Attorney General Merrick Garland - with no success as yet.  

I share a few of the comments by Mike Huckabee and then play an audio excerpt of the press conference.   It only takes a little over a minute before some Left Wing Idiot (my assumption) in the crowd starts blowing a whistle.  And he keeps blowing the whistle throughout most of the press conference (but you can tell when he gets tired).  It is annoying - but try to hang in there for the entire 15 minutes so that you can hear the concerns of the representatives, as well as the crowd that tries to disrupt the conference.

As the p/c progresses, people in the crowd tend to get louder and more disruptive - and some even start walking behind the speakers, holding protest signs.  See if you can hear what song someone breaks into while the representatives are speaking.  And when you figure it out, see if you think it is ironic that they choose that song to try and disrupt the p/c.  And oh yeah - I do stop the tape a few times when I feel compelled to comment.  If you have listened to any of our podcast before - you expect that from me.

Finally - the press conference has to be stopped  because of the crowd and then you hear the reporter covering the p/c make some comments about the crowd and that idiot blowing the whistle.  I came away from watching the video (which I hope you will be able to link to when I post the Huckabee page on Facebook) with a renewed disgust of the tactics used by the Left to silence anyone who does not follow their warped line of thinking - and especially if you are a conservative/Republican.   But I was also made aware of some issues that I was not that aware of before.  Hopefully - if the Republicans keep pushing - maybe the truth will eventually come out.
