Hollywood and Child Performers
Child actors are similar to competitive youth athletes whose talents and age can be exploited by abusive authority figures.
Do you and I have a duty to ensure we do not support movies or entertainment that causes injury to the physical, mental and emotional health of child actors?
Are we complacent, in abuse, when we grab our popcorn and enjoy a show that may cause harm to children?
Maybe there is no right or easy answer, but I am still asking the question.
