E209 - How our DOT in Colorado faked a mud slide just to detour traffic

Would a state agency that is tasked with giving out at times life saving information send out fake information just to detour traffic? The answer is pretty close to yes. I look at the story of the Colorado DOT sending out a fake message about a mudslide that never happened just to get the traffic apps to reroute traffic off a road the DOT didn’t want drivers using. I rant about this and invite Denver7 polictical reporter Meghan Lopezt to weigh in on the story after she got the runaround from various officials.
