This week on the Live to Walk Again Podcast we spoke with Laura Michelle Jackson who is the reigning Ms. Wheelchair Michigan, a Disability Advocate, and a Spinal Cord Injury Survivor. We talked about the tragic cheerleading accident that left her paralyzed in the 8th grade, the amazing work she's doing as both a cheerleading safety and stem cell research advocate, and the courageous trip she took to China a year after her injury for stem cell treatment. We had Ricardo in studio this week filling in admirably because the cohost of the year, Brandon Stephens, was in the hospital after donating a kidney to a close friend.
