Tom is joined by Michael West CBE, professor of work and organisational psychology at Lancaster university, to discuss "compassionate leadership". Michael shares some of the principles of compassionate leadership as well as how to overcome the challenges to become a more compassionate leader. There is a discussion about self compassion and how to look after ourselves as well as an exploration of how to manage difficult conversations in a compassionate way.
