“Jezebel Encounters Jesus” (Part 4)
Rev 2:18-23
Jezebel in the Book of Revelation was not a real prophetess, but a false one with loud claims and loose living. How could such a woman have so much shrewdness and sex-appeal as to lead astray the servants of God in that church? In Revelation chapter two, we see the church tolerating many things, however, Jezebel, whose primary object was sexual immorality and teaching and leading others astray including “eating food sacrificed to idols.” Had the church become too much involved with her to handle the heresy? Jesus said that He was the Bread of Life… let’s depend upon the words of Jesus to keep us fed and strong; let us stop consuming all that the world has to offer. Also, who is the “Angel of the Lord” in OT passages? Jesus has always been and is today and will be forever more. When Jesus speaks to Jezebel, what is it that He is saying to her?

NEW BOOK OFFER: For a donation to our ministry of any amount we will send you Dr. Nichols’ book postage paid: “Who’s In Charge?”
This book will challenge you to rethink your view of Christian leadership. The message of the book is that when teachers are leading, the church is all about doctrinal disputes, identifying heretics, and maintain the status quo. When apostles are leading, the lost are saved, churches are planted, sick bodies are healed, demons are cast out, and the Gospel advances into new territory.
