Anne Kinsella, Professor, Institute of Health Sciences Education, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences (McGill), Curious Reflector
Anne never made a conscious decision to become a researcher. Instead, she followed her questions as they unfolded over time – these questions included how health care providers were learning, practicing, and reflecting on experiences. In her conversation with Sayra, Anne reflects on how her research into reflective practice began, and how she came to think about reflection as a continuum over time. Her studies drew her to questions concerning epistemology and professional knowledge. For Anne, the education researcher's journey is marked by serendipity and surprise, the joy of writing, working with students, and inquiring into one's curiosities.
