Today we talk about a topic that we've touched on somewhat in the past, and that is the relationship of skill and RNG when it comes to tabletop and card games. RNG stands for random number generator, or random number game. Card games are really where this discussion has the most impact, as card games typically have more to do with randomness than other types of games. Especially when games get more competitive, does this topic come up, as higher skilled players eliminate as much randomness as possible from the game they are playing. But what about when the game consists almost entirely of randomness? We discuss the topic in this episode.
