How can ‘common prosperity’ influence the Chinese economy?

The concept of ‘common prosperity’ has dominated the policy landscape in China recently. The key objective is to create a fairer and more equal ‘social welfare society’ and is a long term policy goal. Policy changes will be gradual but there will be macroeconomic implications.
