Philosophy of Religion/Introduction to Philosophy/Social and Political: Ellington 2: Ghost Cow Revenge?
A man, D, my boss at that time and killed our research cow, dies while traveling on a high snow covered highway with his car tumbling down to disaster, and him being beaten death within it as it rolls hundreds of feet. Here we encounter a strange and surprising event with the possibility of a dead cow taking revenge. Every statement made here is true. What's unusual is it involves a cow. Yes, bizarre and seemingly impossible, I agree. But there was a phone call from a good man, a scientist I trust and a police report with photos. These were cow prints, not deer. Any competent person of the wild immediately knows the difference. But there are no cows up there. I leave it to us to discuss and as philosophers, rational beings who form beliefs, at least concerns, on the basis of evidence and logic and nothing else--we all are philosophers if we wish--to carefully consider.
Cheers~
