How do we do more with less? This is a question we’ve been asked by some of the best and brightest. Our response is, ‘That’s a stupid question.” Here’s why: when production expectations exceed capacity to produce the net gain is zero. It’s a common assumption that the more hours people work, the more productive they are, therefore the more profitable the organization will be. Unfortunately, that is just not true.
