In this continuing series on the King and His Kingdom, the parable of the Wheat and Tares from Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43 is explored to discover its meaning and important lessons to be learned. These include the following points: (1) be encouraged, even though we face opposition, (2) be sure you are not a counterfeit, (3) be careful of rash judgments that can do harm, and (4) be patient, for God alone determines who belongs to him. The lesson ends with the encouragement to remember that the kingdom is made up of people and they can change through Jesus and the miracle of salvation!
