Reaching for Normal

This episode was a great conversation, but very sad for me, so much so that I actually took a week from any podcast recordings. Amy Daniels is a mother who lost her daughter Emily from a complex medical condition which was a tumor in which she received many treatments over the years, Which also lead to cognitive issues, and physical issues. Her daughter inspired her to write a book which is her memoir to her daughter through the eyes of her mother/caregiver. And we get to hear the dynamic between her and the rest of her family and how Emily's passing affected not only Amy but also her sister, and father. When you listen to this episode you really get to hear how strong Amy is, and how she still lives the best life she can but not only for her and her family but also for Emily as well
