Unlock U with Dr. Shannan Crawford
Health & Fitness:Mental Health
Struck with the reality that addiction is present within our own families is a heavy blow. We don’t have to remain victims to this reality however. I’ve invited Satchel Stillwell - experienced counselor, addiction recovery specialist, and adjunct professor at TKU - to share his personal story of how addiction ruled his life. It was by a tremendous act of grace and drawing a boundary that led Stillwell to surrender what his flesh sought for so long, and step into recovery and healing. Maintaining relational equity AND setting healthy boundaries for those struggling with this disease are imperative to find success with a family member struggling with addiction.
There is no shame or condemnation if you or a loved one have experienced addiction. We are here to support, encourage, and give you tools to unlock the you that God created you to be!
