Welcome to This Week in Heartlanders Hockey with Minor League Sports Report's Rob Pannier. This Week in Heartlanders Hockey provides fans with information, recaps, analysis and interviews from the ECHL's newest and most exciting team - the Iowa Heartlanders.

In this week's episode, Rob welcomes the voice of the Wichita Thunder, Jason Mals, to the show to discuss Wednesday night's contest as well as who to watch from the Thunder. Jason also tells why stuff is good and shares the best and worst Christmas present he ever received.

Kevin Luckow also returns to talk about this past weekend's games for both the Iowa Wild and the Iowa Heartlanders as well as what lies ahead for both teams. Plus, the Boys discuss a big week for the parent club.
